TRIO World Time Clock: Three aircraft windows, three time zones

An aviation design concept for international hotels and executive lounges.

What if an original piece of aviation history could connect three cities, three time zones and the people travelling between them?

In an international hotel, the world never follows a single clock. While guests prepare for meetings in New York, business conversations continue in London and a new day unfolds in Tokyo.

Inspired by this global rhythm, SKYPAK presents TRIO World Time Clock — a design concept exploring how authentic aircraft windows could become a distinctive feature in contemporary hospitality interiors.

From aircraft windows to a world of connections

Aircraft windows have witnessed countless journeys. Through them, passengers have discovered unfamiliar landscapes, distant cities and new horizons.

Today, SKYPAK gives original aviation components a new purpose through contemporary design and craftsmanship.

The SKYPAK Aircraft Window TRIO – High Gloss Silver combines three authentic aircraft windows within a polished aluminium structure. Original window frames, visible rivets and characteristic panel details preserve the unmistakable identity of its aviation origins.

The wall-mounted design object is handcrafted in Germany. It measures approximately 155 × 90 × 15 cm and can be used as a minibar, wall bar or display feature.

Each piece is unique, as its form and details vary depending on the aircraft segment used.

The World Time Clock concept explores another possibility: introducing elegant time displays within the three windows while preserving the character of the original aircraft component.

Not inspired by aviation. Part of it.

Time without borders

New York. London. Tokyo.

Three international cities, each with its own rhythm, connected through business, travel and culture.

In this interpretation, three minimalist analogue clocks appear within the original aircraft windows, accompanied by discreet city labels.

The design remains deliberately restrained. No oversized digital displays or decorative additions compete with the aluminium structure.

Instead, the distinctive geometry of the windows creates a natural visual rhythm. The clocks introduce a subtle functional dimension, while the authentic aircraft panel remains the centrepiece.

Once a window to the world. Now a reflection of the time that connects it.

Where aviation history meets contemporary architecture

Imagine entering the executive lounge of an international five-star hotel.

Beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, the city skyline stretches across the horizon. Its outlines are softly reflected in the polished aluminium of TRIO, while daylight catches the original rivets and curved aircraft window frames.

The installation immediately attracts attention.

At first glance, it appears to be a sculptural aircraft component. A closer look reveals three timepieces connecting distant cities.

The object becomes a conversation starter — a piece of engineering history with a contemporary interpretation.

For architects and interior designers, TRIO offers something beyond conventional wall decoration: an authentic material, a recognisable construction and a story that cannot be reproduced through styling alone.

The concept could find its place in luxury hotel lobbies, executive lounges, VIP reception areas and international corporate headquarters, where global connections are part of everyday life.

Every detail of the original aircraft panel — from its proportions and metal profiles to its visible fasteners — contributes to its character. The proposed clocks add meaning without taking attention away from the aviation component itself.

The images shown here are conceptual visualisations, exploring a possible alternative application of the original Aircraft Window TRIO. The World Time Clock configuration is not currently offered as a standard SKYPAK product.

Beyond time. A connection to the world.

Some design objects tell us what time it is. Others remind us how far the world can take us.

TRIO World Time Clock brings these two ideas together.

Once part of an aircraft carrying passengers towards new destinations, these three windows now suggest another way of looking beyond borders — towards the cities, conversations and journeys that connect us.

The hands of a clock may move, but the story behind these windows remains.

Three aircraft windows. Three time zones. One world — connected by aviation.
