The beginnings of Skypak date back to 2010, when Peter Jorge Fischer founded the company.
When Peter first had the idea of turning aircraft trolleys into interior objects, he didn't realise what opportunities this would open up to create something truly unique in the interior market.
But as he got involved, Peter soon realised that these aircraft trolleys offered a variety of functionalities and design finishes. With this realisation, Peter began to transform the aircraft trolleys into multifunctional design objects, fitting them with drawers, shelves and cooling systems.
But that wasn't all. With the idea of being a design manufactory, Peter immersed himself in the wide range of possible materials for finishing and ended up enhancing the trolleys with carefully curated materials. From gold leaf, Swarovski stones and Italian mosaic stones to wood from old barrique barrels, Skypak uses the finest materials to make the trolleys truly unique design objects that can transform a living or working space.
Peter has worked closely with various designers to make Skypak what it is today: a furniture brand that offers a wide range of modern and industrial design objects that have their origins in the idea of mobile and multifunctional aeroplane trolleys.
