Skypak’s beginnings date back to 2010, when Peter Jorge Fischer founded the company.
When Peter initially came up with the idea of turning airline trolleys into interior objects, he didn’t realize the possibilities it would open up to create something truly unique in the interior market.
But when he got into it, Peter soon realized that these airline trolleys offered a variety of functionalities and design finishes. With this realization, Peter began to transform the airline trolleys into multifunctional design objects, adding drawers, shelves and cooling systems.
But that wasn’t all. With the idea of being a design manufactory in mind, Peter dove into the wide range of possible materials for finishing and ended up finishing the trolleys with carefully curated materials. From gold leaf, Swarovski stones and Italian mosaic stones to wood from old barrique barrels, Skypak uses the finest materials to make the trolleys truly unique design objects that can transform a living or work space.
Peter worked closely with various designers to make Skypak what it is today: a home furnishings brand that offers a wide range of modern and industrial design objects that originated from the idea of mobile and multifunctional airplane trolleys.
