At Skypak, we have a passion for design that inspires the senses - and that is our true motive.
We have a passion for design - and this is not only the reason why we founded Skypak, but also the motive behind everything we do. And this is reflected in all our designs.
Each of our designer pieces is based on the Aircraft trolleyFunctional and minimalist, but with a touch of sophistication even in its most original form. By taking these familiar objects as a design basis, our pieces immediately make you think of the quiet rumble of turbines and the thrilling feeling you get when you're about to take off.
With this object as a design body, we initially thought that the possibilities in terms of design and refinement would be finite. However, as we delved deeper into the design process, we quickly realised that with our initial designs we were only scratching the surface of the design possibilities that this object offered us. And since then, we have been on a journey to explore the design possibilities of functional mobile living design.
We do this in collaboration with our own designersbut also with world-renowned designers who lend us their talent and vision to create works of art from ordinary aircraft trolleys. Always with the highest standards for our product, this journey has already led us to various refinements, e.g. with Gold, Swarovski crystals or the Wood from barrique barrels as well as various design themes, e.g. lettering, drawings, city references - all of which can be attributed to the designer who created them in our design manufactory. Each one is so unique that we can hardly imagine how many more of these designs and special finishes are possible for a product as versatile as the aircraft trolley.
Skypak - a design manufactory
And it is precisely for this reason that Skypak sees itself less as a furniture manufacturer and more as a design manufacturer - our task is not to sell designer furniture, but to create endless designs on an existing basis that can influence the fluidity, efficiency and organisation of our customers' living and working spaces. Baz Pringelswho was one of the first designers we worked with, made it in one of our interviews formulated like this:
The whole idea is to take everyday objects that we don't associate with personal designer items and turn them into works of art.

And these artworks have the ability to literally move, creating new possibilities for the design and transformation of our everyday spaces.
