Skypak at the Lufthansa Group Roadshow 2026
Aviation has been part of Skypak's story from the very beginning.
Since 2009, we have been transforming original aircraft parts into distinctive furniture and design objects — giving elements once created for aviation an entirely new purpose.
On 20 August 2026, this connection to the world of aviation brought us to Frankfurt, where Skypak had been invited by the Lufthansa Group to attend its Roadshow 2026.
For us, the event was an opportunity to meet people from the aviation and travel industry, exchange perspectives and gain new insights into a world that is closely connected to both our products and our international business.

Aviation from Different Perspectives
The programme offered insights into different areas of today's aviation landscape, including Eurowings, digital airline distribution through NDC and the new long-haul experience represented by SWISS Senses.
What made the roadshow particularly interesting for us was the opportunity to experience aviation from perspectives very different from our own.
At Skypak, we look at aircraft in a rather unusual way.

Where others may see an aircraft window, a fuselage section or a piece of airline equipment, we often see the beginning of something new. Original aircraft components become furniture and design objects for private interiors, offices, hotels and exceptional spaces around the world.
This idea has shaped Skypak since its beginnings: preserving the character and history of original aviation materials while giving them a new function and a new environment.
Personal Encounters Still Matter
Skypak works internationally, with customers, partners and projects in different parts of the world. Much of that business can be managed digitally, but personal encounters remain particularly valuable.

Events such as the Lufthansa Group Roadshow create opportunities for conversations that go beyond the scheduled programme — to exchange ideas, discover different perspectives and sometimes find inspiration in unexpected places.
For us, staying curious and connected to the world around aviation is an important part of continuing to develop Skypak.
A Day of Aviation, Exchange and New Perspectives
The roadshow in Frankfurt brought together many different aspects of aviation in one place and gave us the opportunity to look beyond our own perspective.

For a company whose products begin with original pieces of aviation history, that makes events like this especially interesting.
An aircraft part may have reached the end of its original journey — but for us, that is often where a new one begins.
We would like to thank the Lufthansa Group for the invitation, the interesting insights and the inspiring conversations in Frankfurt.
